The International scientific conference "XI Modern Problems of Mathematics and Mechanics" will be held under the organization of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, dedicated to the memory of Nasireddin Tusi, a brilliant Azerbaijani scientist and thinker who lived in the 13th century.
The conference is planned to be held on July 03-06, 2024 in Baku.

On 29.11.2017 at 12:00 in the next seminar of the department of “Function Theory”, leading researcher of the department of General and Applied Mathematics of Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry Elnur Khalilov will give a talk on “Constructive methods for solving one class of integral equations of the first kind”. In the talk, the projection-grid method is developed for a class of integral equations of the first kind obtained from boundary value problems for the Helmholtz equation in three-dimensional space.
