The paper of associate Professor of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, corresponding member of ANAS, professor Vagif Guliyev, doctor of mathematical sciences, professor of ANAS Rovshan Bandaliyev and employees of ANAS Institute of Control Systems, doctor of mathematical sciences, professor of ANAS Ilgar Mammadov, ass. prof. Yasin Rustamov was published with in the 1st Azerbaijan-Russia joint international grant competition and scientific-research programs of ANAS. The paper was published in a 1.234 Impact Factor journal called “Journal of Optimization Theory and Applications” (https://www.springer.com/mathematics/journal/10957) referenced in the Thomson Reuters international database.

In the paper “Optimal control for the Bianchi equation in the variable Sobolev spaces” (https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s10957-018-1290-9) the Pontryagin’s maximum principle is proved for distributed parameter optimal control problem described by third order Bianchi equation with the coefficients from the variable Lebesgue space.

The statement of the considered optimal control problem was studied by the growth method based on the integral from adjoint equation.
