An event on the 15-year activity of the Young Scientists and Specialists Council of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of ANAS was held today.

Director of the institute, corresponding member of ANAS, professor Misir Mardanov said that scientific and public activity of young people working in ANAS has increased in recent years. The role of young people in the development of science is very important. From this point of view, they should always develop their knowledge and skills and integrate into world science. He also gave valuable advice to young people and wished them success in their activities.

Ass. professor Famin Salmanov, chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Professionals of ANAS, said that the activity of the Young Scientists and Specialists Council of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics was always satisfactory. He stressed that the winners of the awards and scientific competitions held by ANAS to encourage young scientists and specialists to a higher level of scientific research are always the result of the scientists from the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics.

Corresponding members of ANAS, professors Vagif Guliyev, Bilal Bilalov, Geylani Panahov, sen. res. ass. of Mohammed Fizuli Institute of manuscripts of ANAS, PhD on philology Tunzala Seyfullayeva, the first chairman of the Institute of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Institute of Mathematical Sciences Doctor of Philosophy Mubariz Hajibeyov, the second president of ANAS Rovshan Bandaliyev wished the scientists success in their difficult and responsible work.

Associate Professor Famil Seyfullayev, chairman of the Young Scientists and Experts Council of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, noted that the board is in constant focus of the head of the Institute. He wished young people success in their scientific activities.

At the end of the event, honorary decrees, five scholars distinguished for scientific activity, certificates for active young scholars and thank-you for organizing were represented.
