The International scientific conference "XI Modern Problems of Mathematics and Mechanics" will be held under the organization of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, dedicated to the memory of Nasireddin Tusi, a brilliant Azerbaijani scientist and thinker who lived in the 13th century.
The conference is planned to be held on July 03-06, 2024 in Baku.

An enzyme that affects the distribution of COVID-19 in the body has been found

Scientists at the University of Tübingen in Germany have discovered an enzyme that can affect the spread of coronavirus infection in the human body.

This was reported by the portal Mercury.

Experts have found that the spread of SARS-CoV-2 in the lungs, using a computer model, forces the virus’s cells to secrete special substances that help it enter.

Experts have found that the enzyme quanilatkinasa 1 (GK1) is especially valuable for the virus. After scientists “removed” it from the body, the proliferation of SARS-CoV-2 stopped.

Experts are confident that the findings will be important for the development and improvement of a drug for the treatment of COVID-19.
