Head of the Department of “Fluid and Gas Mechanics” of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, corresponding member of ANAS Geylani Panahov and leading researcher of this department, ass.prof. Eldar Abbasov visited the People’s Republic of China and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
At the time of the visit, the researchers from the IMM and PRC conducted joint research with the Advanced Technology Institute in Fenchhen, Tianjin Province. The continuation of initial research in the Fenchin Advanced Technology Institute in the field of visco-elastic compositions and other materials important for the oil-producing industry under the leadership of Q. Panahov was the basis for finding ways to apply for oil and gas fields in the PRC, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Russian Federation and other countries.
As a result of the experiments conducted by P. Panahov and E. Abbasov in the modern devices and equipments of the Fenchen Institute Institute, new composition of viscou-elastic compositions has been explored and laboratory and mining studies are planned in the future.
Our scientists have been participating in a scientific-practical conference organized by the Rissia-Vietnam joint venture “VYETSOVPETRO” in Da Lat city (Vietnam). Q. Panahov and E. Abbasov made a scientific report “On the experience of protection of corrosion of industrial and technological pipe systems in offshore fields of Azerbaijan and solutions proposed on protection of oil installations and pipelines from corrosion in offshore fields of “VYETSOVPETRO” JV. The report discusses the importance of preventing corrosion from inside and removing from different collections of pipelines and introducing new effective methods in this direction.
The leaders of VYETSOVPETRO emphasized the importance of cooperation and expansion of relations in the field of application of innovative technologies in Vietnam offshore fields.
