A very important scientific or technological contribution to the social and economic development of the country;<br \/>\n2. Significant contributions to science in engineering, agriculture, medicine, biotechnology, information technology, optics, material science, pharmacy, industry microelectronics, nanotechnology and alternative energy sources;<br \/>\n3. Successful research institutes in less developed IDB member.<br \/>\nDetailed information on the prize and the application form can be found on the official web-site (www.isdb.orq). The winners will be awarded during the 43rd Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the IDB on 3-5 April 2018 in the Republic of Tunisia.
