During the reporting period, the International Relations Department carried out its activities in accordance with the scientific and scientific-organizational topics of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics and the Department of International Relations of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n
Within the framework of international events of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, the department facilitated the search and development of international relations and opportunities for establishing cooperation between the scientists of the IMM NAS of Azerbaijan and foreign scientific centers and Universities.<\/p>\n
One of the ways of international cooperation is participation in the implementation of joint scientific projects in the framework of international competitions (grants) for funding scientific research and scientific internships.<\/p>\n
During the reporting period, Department of Foreign Relations of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics contributed to the conclusion of new international agreements on scientific cooperation:<\/p>\n
1. An agreement signed between the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and Institute of Mathematics named after S.L. Sobolev, Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Novosibirsk, Russian Federation).
