In on 25-26 may, 2018, in collaboration with Sumgayit State University, IMM has held the international Conference \u201cTheoretical and applied problems of mathematics\u201d.<\/p>\n
On November 2, 2017, together with Baku State University, IMM held an event devoted to 100 years of famous scientist, science organizer, corr.-member of ANAS, doctor of phys. math. sci. prof. Goshgar Ahmedov. On 16-17 November, 2017, Ministry of Education and Science of Kaluga province of Russian Federation and IMM held the III International scientific practical conference \u201cMathematical simulation in economy, control and education\u201d.<\/p>\n
On 06-08, 2017 the International Conference \u201cModern Problems of Mathematics and Mechanics devoted to 80 years of the honoured scientist, acad. Akif Gadjiev was held by IMM.<\/p>\n
School of Young Mathematicians was created by IMM and Baku City Education administration and its work get started on February 22, 2017. In general 14 events were held, including 11 lectures and 3 seminars. Video shooting of the activity and lessons of \u2018School of Young Mathematicians may be found in official web. On the report year the institute seminar has continued its work per a week. At these seminars, the talks of the institute collabrators and the scientists from foreign countries such as prof. of \u201cMathematical Analysis\u201d chair of mechanics-mathematics faculty of M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University, Garakhan Mirzoyev and prof. of this University Andrey Firsikov were listened.<\/p>\n
On the report year, 386 scientific works including 198 papers, (140 of them in foreign journals), 167 abstracts, including 71 in abroad, 15 scientific popular works, 3 books, 1 monograph and one text-book of the institute collaborators were published. 67 papers were published in impact factor \u201cThomson Reuters\u201d international scientific base journals. The institute collaborators works were cited 1300 times. On the report year, at the dissertation Board of IMM D.01.111, 7 doctor of sciences and 8 philosophy doctor dissertations were defended.<\/p>\n
