At the seminar, the leading res. ass. of \u201cFunctions Theory\u201d department, cand. phys. math. sci. Rashid Aliyev gave a talk on \u201cApproximation of singular and hypersingular integral operators\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The talk deals with approximation of the Cauchy kernel and Hilbert kernel singular and hypersingular integral operators by the sequence of special type operators. It was shown that the approximating operators retain the main properties of singular and hypersingular integral operators.
