Today the \u201cOptimal Control\u201d department was held its regular seminar. At the seminar Leading scientist of The Institute of Control Systems of ANAS, Dr., Assoc. Prof. Anar Rahimov gave a talk on the theme \u201cOptimal control of concentrated system on the class of piecewise constant functions with uncertain information on parameters and initial conditions\u201d.<\/p>\n

In the talk optimal control problems for objects described by ordinary differential equations systems on the class of piecewise constant control functions with uncertain initial information on the values of initial conditions and on object parameters were investigated. In the problem, piecewise-constant values of the controls and the boundaries of constancy intervals of the controls were optimized. For the case when the number of constancy intervals of the controls was given, the formulas for the gradient of the target functional were obtained. These formulas allowed using efficient first order optimization methods. For a case when the number of constancy intervals was not given, the algorithm of its optimization was suggested.<\/p>\n
