Today the \u201cOptimal Control\u201d department was held its regular seminar. At the seminar Prof. Kamil Aida-zade gave a talk on \u201cInvestigation of the problem of optimal control by a system ODE of block structure with blocks connected only by boundary conditions\u201d.<\/p>\n

In the talk the will be investigated the problem of optimal control of an object (process), described by a system of a large number of independent subsystems of linear non-autonomous differential equations. The blocks (subsystems) of the common system are connected by nonlocal, unseparated boundary conditions. The necessary optimally conditions for the considered problem are obtained, which are used to construct a numerical method for its solution. A numerical scheme is proposed for solving direct and adjoint initial boundary value problems of large dimension and block structure. The method is based on the proposed special scheme of the sweep method.<\/p>\n
