Thus, as of November 2019, Azerbaijan ranks first in the region due to the growth dynamics of \u201cWeb of Science\u201d indexed research works and effectiveness of them.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sizeable\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Note that, 1392 research works were registered in the scientific base of \u201cWeb of Science\u201d in Azerbaijan. The similar figure is 1119 for Armenia and 999 for Georgia.
