December 4th, 2019 the joint seminar of the department \u201cDifferential Equations\u201d and the department \u201cEquations of Mathematical Physics\u201d was held.<\/p>\n

At the seminar, with a report on the topic \u201cOn completeness and basicity for problems with a spectral parameter that appears both in a differential equation and in boundary conditions\u201d <\/strong>Doctor of Physics and Mathematics Ilham Veliullah oglu Aliyev <\/strong>delivered a speech. During the report, a linear spectral problem for a differential equation of arbitrary order was considered. The boundary-value problem is posed so that the spectral parameter is included in the boundary conditions. For this problem, linearity is shown and some spectral properties of the obtained new linear operator are studied. Such problems are also generalized for differential-operator equations.<\/p>\n
