On December 10, the next meeting of the Presidium of ANAS was held.<\/p>\n

Opening the event, President of ANAS, academician\u00a0Ramiz Mehdiyev<\/a>\u00a0presented the agenda, noting that a number of scientific and organizational issues will be discussed at the meeting.<\/p>\n

Then, academician-secretary, corresponding member of ANAS\u00a0Aminagha Sadigov<\/a>\u00a0noted the creation of the Commission by the Presidential Order of the ANAS dated November 21, 2019 to improve the structure and management system of the Presidium, as well as submission of the proposals to the academician Ramiz Mehdiyev. He informed the participants about the decisions of the Presidium on the activities of the Center for Strategic Scientific Researches.<\/p>\n

Referring to the partial change in the structure of the\u00a0Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi<\/a>, academician-secretary of ANAS said that scientific-theoretical revision of the way of development of Azerbaijani literature influenced the activities of the Department of Ancient Literature of Azerbaijan and made it necessary to make changes on its name.<\/p>\n

Later the meeting discussed issues of partial change in the structure of the\u00a0Institute of Folklore<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Oriental Studies<\/a>\u00a0of ANAS, and appropriate decisions were made to establish new departments in these institutions.<\/p>\n

Then, it was decided to award scientists with honorary decrees of ANAS in connection with the 90th anniversary of corresponding members of ANAS\u00a0Masuma Malikova<\/a>, 70th anniversary of\u00a0Hajifakhraddin Safarli<\/a>, and 70th anniversary of\u00a0Alishir Musayev<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The meeting also revised the issue of the title “Professor of ANAS” and made a relevant decision.<\/p>\n

In addition, event discussed the structure and staff schedule of the High Technology Park LLC of ANAS.<\/p>\n
