On December 11,\u00a0Institute of Physics<\/a>\u00a0of ANAS hosted for General meeting of the\u00a0Division of Physical-Mathematical and Technical Sciences<\/a>\u00a0(DPMTS).<\/p>\n

The event was attended by the vice-president of ANAS, academician\u00a0Rasim Alguliyev<\/a>, academician- secretary of the division, academician\u00a0Nazim Mammadov<\/a>, members of the bureau, heads of relevant scientific institutions, scientific secretaries and relevant employees.<\/p>\n

Opening the meeting, academician Nazim Mammadov provided information on the agenda. He said that at today’s meeting the annual reports of the division\u2019s Institutes of Physics, Radiation Problems and Biophysics, as well as Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory would be listened.<\/p>\n

Later on, academician Javad Abdino<\/a>v submitted an annual report of the Institute of Physics, corresponding member of ANAS\u00a0Namig Jalilov<\/a>\u00a0– Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory, corresponding member of ANAS\u00a0Ogtay Samadov\u00a0<\/a>– Institute of Radiation Problems, corresponding member of ANAS Oktay Gasimov \u2013 Institute of Biophysics.<\/p>\n

Scientists informed about current research, published publications, articles, international cooperation, grant projects, patents and staff training at the enterprises they represent, and responded questions of participants.<\/p>\n

Then the authors of important scientific results made presentations on their scientific achievements.<\/p>\n

There was extensive discussion around the reports. Following the discussions, reports of the relevant institutions of the division have been accepted.<\/p>\n

In conclusion, academician Fikret Aliyev submitted an annual report of the Research Institute of Applied Mathematics of Baku State University.<\/p>\n
