23.06.2021<\/strong>\u00a0at the wide-seminar of Institute of the IMM of ANAS the head of the Department \u201cFunction theory\u201d Vugar Ismailov<\/strong>\u00a0 made a presentation on the theme \u201cThe Diliberto-Straus algorithm for the approximation by a sum of algebras.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n

In his report, V.Ismailov<\/strong> gave detailed information about the problem of approximation of a continuous function on a compact Hausdorff space by elements of two algebras and discuss the Diliberto-Straus algorithm. \u00a0It was shown that under certain conditions, the sequence produced by the Diliberto-Straus algorithm converges to the approximation error. He answered in detail the questions of d.m.s. R. Aliyev, d.m.s. R.Bandaliyev, d.m.s. F.Mamedov.<\/p>\n
