Weekly seminar on February \u00a011, 2015, 10.00 featured a report\u00a0 by PHD, Abbasov Elkhan Macid ogly, head of the Department \u201cDesign and optimization techniques exploit the wells\u201d of Research \u00a0Project Institute Oil and Gaz ofSOCAR, entitled \u201cNon-stationary filtration process integral simulation in horizontal wells\u00a0<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n

Accounting for a well-reservoir system dinamic contact in horizontal wells and filter\u2013type horizontal part of a pipe wall, non-stationary filtration process of water through reservoir was studied by mathematical simulation. Well productivity was defined depending on length of the horizontal part of a well and reservoir characteristics. With regard to filter-type horizontal part of a pipe wall and well-reservoir system dinamic contact, an analytical formula was found in order to determine pressure loss in a pipe. Wellbottom pressure history was determined. Based on studies, parameter values improving horizontal well producing characteristics was defined.<\/p>\n
