At the Institute seminar, professor of University of Friendship of Peoples of Russia, head of \u201cMathematical Analysis and functions Theory\u201d, prof. Viktor Burenkov has given a talk on \u201cAnalogy of Young inequality in generalized Morrey-type spaces\u201d.
\nHaving opened the institute seminar with opening address, director of IMM, prof. Misir Mardanov congratulated the editor-in-chief of the editorial staff of \u201cTransactions of NASA\u201d and \u201cProceedings of IMM\u201d on the occasion of his 60-th jubilee on behalf of the institute body, wished her a sound health and successes in her activity.
\nThen professor of University of Friendship of Peoples of Russia, head of \u201cMathematical analysis and Functions Theory\u201d prof. Viktor Burenkov was given the floor.
\nIn 1958-1968 prof. Viktor Burenkov has studied at Moscow physics Engineering Institute (faculty of applied mathematics). In 1966 he graduated from the post-graduate courses of Mathematics chair of Moscow Physics-Engineering Institute (functions theory) and in 1967 earned his PhD degree (functions theory, Steklov Institute of Mathematics), Russian Academy of Sciences (Moscow). In 1983 earned doctor of sciences degree (functions theory, Russian Academy of Sciences, Steklov Institute of Mathematics) (Moscow).
\nIn 1986 he was promoted to the rank of professor. In 1994-1998 prof. Viktor Burenkov has been editor-in-chief of \u201cTransactions of Friendship of People University\u201d (he is a member of the editiorial staff of \u201cTransactions of NASA\u201d and \u201cProceedings of IMM\u201d in Azerbaijan).
\nSince 2010, together with acad. of Russian Academy of Sciences V.A. Sadovnich and acad. of Khazakstan Academy of Sciences M. Otelbayev he is editor-in-chief of \u201cEurasion Mathematical Journal\u201d. In 2003-2013 he has been a vice president of the International Mathematical Society. In 2011, prof V. Burenkov was one of the main organizers of the VIII Congress of Friendship of Peoples University of Russia (over 400 participants from 40 countries, including Azerbaijan). V. Burenkov has repeatedly visited Azerbaijan. His first visit to our country has happened 50 years ago.
\nThe goal of this visit is to strengthen scientific relations and cooperation. Prof. Burenkov has given a talk at the institute seminar on \u201cAnalog of Young inequality in Morrey type spaces\u201d. The analog of Young\u2019s inequality in generalized Morrey type spaces was discussed.<\/p>\n
