On 25.02.2016, at 11.00 \u201cOptimal control\u201d department held its fourth seminar. Professor of BSU Hamlet Guliyev gave a talk on \u201cSome optimal control problems for hyperbolic equations\u201d. The talk deals with a control problem stated for third boundary condition linear hyperbolic equations. An optimal control problem for bending-torsional oscillations of a bar was considered, necessary and sufficient conditions were given in the form of integral inequality. The problem of determination of the minor term in the string oscillation equation was reduced to an optimal control problem and was studied by the methods of optimal control theory.<\/p>\n
