Are you a young researcher in need of a grant to attend a conference? The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elsevier.com\/physical-sciences\/mathematics\/funding-in-mathematics\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Elsevier Mathematical Sciences Sponsorship Fund<\/span><\/a> might be for you!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Fund aims to support events and activities that benefit individuals and groups within mathematical sciences. Applications to the 2017 Fund are welcome for single-year grants, in amounts between US$500 and US$5,000, in the areas of:<\/p>\n<p>Young researchers &#8211; travel grants for conferences or workshops<\/p>\n<p>Educational &#8211; educational activity aimed at promoting the mathematical sciences to young researchers, or educating the general public<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Philanthropy &#8211; support for activities to advance mathematical sciences in developing nations<\/p>\n<p>Read about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elsevier.com\/physical-sciences\/mathematics\/mathematical-sciences-sponsorship-fund-2016\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">previous winners and their associated projects<\/span><\/a> and discover the many ways we are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elsevier.com\/physical-sciences\/mathematics\/community\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">supporting the mathematics community<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Application deadline is 30th November 2016.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Apply Today!
