Announcement

The International scientific conference "XI Modern Problems of Mathematics and Mechanics" will be held under the organization of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, dedicated to the memory of Nasireddin Tusi, a brilliant Azerbaijani scientist and thinker who lived in the 13th century.
The conference is planned to be held on July 03-06, 2024 in Baku.

Cand. of phys. math. sci. Sharif Mamed oglu Nasibov gave a talk on “Sobolev interpolation inequality and the Gross-Sobolev logarithmic inequality”

Today, the regular seminar of IMM was held. At the seminar of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, a leading researcher at the Research Institute of Applied Mathematics of Baku State University, cand. of phys. math. sci. Sharif Mamed oglu Nasibov made a report on the topic “Sobolev interpolation inequality and the Gross-Sobolev logarithmic inequality”.

The report is devoted to the proof of one exact integral inequality, to derivation of the Sobolev interpolation inequality using the Hausdorff-Young inequality. Based on this inequality, the logarithmic Gross-Sobolev inequality are proved.
