Announcement

The International scientific conference "XI Modern Problems of Mathematics and Mechanics" will be held under the organization of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, dedicated to the memory of Nasireddin Tusi, a brilliant Azerbaijani scientist and thinker who lived in the 13th century.
The conference is planned to be held on July 03-06, 2024 in Baku.

The seminar of the Department “Large Scale Computation of Norms by a Greedy Subspace Method” was held

Today  the  “Optimal Control” department was held its regular seminar. Dr. Nijat Aliyev, Scientific Researcher of the “Optimal Control” Department, gave a talk entitled “Large Scale Computation of Norms by a Greedy Subspace Method”.

In the talk, using a subspace method approximation of norms of large-scale control systems was discussed.
