On November 26, 2025, the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan held its next General Institute Seminar. At the event, Professor Azer Ahmadov from the University of North Dakota, USA, delivered a talk titled “Tiles of Groups.”

The presentation covered recent results in the theory of group tilings, including research related to the Fuglede conjecture. The speaker provided detailed insights into tiles of countable groups, their left translations covering the group without intersections, and several open problems in this field.

The seminar attracted significant interest from participants and was followed by fruitful discussions.
