An international conference entitled “Decision-Making in Uncertainty” was held in Hurghada, Egypt from 25 January to 1 February 2019. Professor Soltan Aliyev, chief researcher ass. of the Department of Functional Analysis of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of ANAS, participated in this conference traditionally held every year in different countries.

Experts from Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, Austria, Ukraine, Georgia and Azerbaijan made scientific reports.

Prof. Soltan Aliyev, as a member of the organizing committee, at first delivered a scientific report “Convergence of the sequence of Bellman-Harris branching processes to Irjini process” on the conference’s opening and then at the section.

In addition, during the conference, S.Aliyev held talks about the creation and strengthening of relations with professors Yaros Mikelic (Czech Republic), Yaroslav Chabanyuk (Poland), Yuri Yermolev (Austria), Alexander Nakonechniy (Ukraine), Yaroslav Yeleyko (Ukraine), Abram Didmanidze (Georgia). Then in the meeting of the organizing commitee it was decided to hold the next conference in 2020 in Azerbaijan.
