The International scientific conference "XI Modern Problems of Mathematics and Mechanics" will be held under the organization of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, dedicated to the memory of Nasireddin Tusi, a brilliant Azerbaijani scientist and thinker who lived in the 13th century.
The conference is planned to be held on July 03-06, 2024 in Baku.

15.12.2021 at 12.00 a seminar of the Department “Applied Mathematics” will take place. At the seminar, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Rasulova Nazile will make a report ” A New Class of Homogeneous Solutions to Plane Problems of Elastodynamics.”

A new type of functionally invariant solutions of the Smirnov-Sobolev wave equation is presented, which can be used to solve many homogeneous problems of elastodynamics.
