The International scientific conference "XI Modern Problems of Mathematics and Mechanics" will be held under the organization of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, dedicated to the memory of Nasireddin Tusi, a brilliant Azerbaijani scientist and thinker who lived in the 13th century.
The conference is planned to be held on July 03-06, 2024 in Baku.

Recently, at the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of NAS of Azerbaijan, a member of the editorial board of the journal ‘Izvestia”, professor of MSU Idjad Sabitov was awarded the “Lobachevsky Prize”, one of the prestigious awards in the field of mathematics. On behalf of the Azerbaijan Mathematicians we sincerely congratulate prof. I.Sabitov and wish him good health great successes in his scientific activity.
