On March 07, 2022, at 10:00 at the institute seminar of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of ANAS, the report of head of the department of “Algebra and mathematical logic”, Candidate of Physics and Mathematics, Associate Professor Ali Avaz oglu Babayev will report on the theme “New results in the study of Nasreddin Tusi’s mathematical works”.

The report deals with the innovations brought to mathematics by Nasreddin Tusi in his “Euclid’s Commentary”, “Calculus with the help of a dusty board” and other mathematical works.
