Announcement

The International scientific conference "XI Modern Problems of Mathematics and Mechanics" will be held under the organization of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, dedicated to the memory of Nasireddin Tusi, a brilliant Azerbaijani scientist and thinker who lived in the 13th century.
The conference is planned to be held on July 03-06, 2024 in Baku.

Today the regular Institute seminar was held. In the seminar of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of ANAS the head of the department “Function Theory” Vugar Elman oglu Ismailov gave a talk “On a theorem of Hecht-Nielsen”.

The report addresses one of the pioneering results in neural network theory called Hecht-Nielsen’s theorem. It is shown that the analogue of this theorem is valid for any multivariate function.
