On May 04, 2022 at 10:00, at the Institute seminar of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of ANAS, the head of “Mechanics of Deformable Solids” department, doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, professor Latif Khalil oglu Talybly will make a report on the topic “One effective method for solving quasi-static boundary value problems in the theory of viscoelasticity”.

An effective method for solving quasi-static boundary value problems in the theory of viscoelasticity will be presented. The method will be illustrated by the example of the problem “Stress Distributions Due to Concentrated Force on Viscoelastic Holf –Space”, the solution which was obtained by USA scientists Y.Peng and D.Zhou using the presented method and published with the corresponding link in the journal “Jounal of Computations and Modeling, 2012, vol. 12, no. 4. P.51-74”. At the same time, the exact solution of the new boundary value problem of viscoelasticity on the deformation of a rotating disk, obtained by the author using the presented method, will be given.
