Announcement

The International scientific conference "XI Modern Problems of Mathematics and Mechanics" will be held under the organization of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, dedicated to the memory of Nasireddin Tusi, a brilliant Azerbaijani scientist and thinker who lived in the 13th century.
The conference is planned to be held on July 03-06, 2024 in Baku.

The head researcher of the department “Mathematical analysis” d.m.s., associate professor Elman Javanshir oglu Ibrahimov gave a talk “Strong and weak types inequalities for the fractional maximal function and fractional integral associated with the Gegenbauer differential operator”

Today the regular seminar was held. In the seminar of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of ANAS the head of the Department of “Equations of mathematical physics” department Guliyev Abdurrahim gave a talk on the topic “Growth type theorems for non-negative solutions of the heat equation”.

In the report, the obtained results about growth-type theorems in terms of heat capacity and heat potential for classical non-negative solutions of the heat equation and the application of these results to the derivation of Wiener-type criteria in capacity and potential terms of the boundary point regularity with respect to the Dirichlet problem for the heat equation was discussed.
