The International scientific conference "XI Modern Problems of Mathematics and Mechanics" will be held under the organization of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, dedicated to the memory of Nasireddin Tusi, a brilliant Azerbaijani scientist and thinker who lived in the 13th century.
The conference is planned to be held on July 03-06, 2024 in Baku.

A senior researcher of the department “Function Theory”, cand. ph.-m. s., associate professor, Niyazi Aladdin oglu Ilyasov gave a talk with presentation entitled “On various properties of periodic summable functions with only one condition on modulus of continuity of the second order”

Today the regular seminar was held. In the seminar of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics a senior researcher of the department “Function Theory”, cand. ph.-m. s., associate professor, Niyazi Aladdin oglu Ilyasov gave a talk with presentation entitled “On various properties of periodic summable functions with only one condition on modulus of continuity of the second order”.

Exact descending orders for a number of quantities, which characterize various properties of 2- periodic summable functions from the class with a given majorant of a modulus of continuity of the second order are found. It is proved that all these quantities have the same descending order (under a condition on majorant), which is realized by one extremal function.
