Announcement

The International scientific conference "XI Modern Problems of Mathematics and Mechanics" will be held under the organization of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, dedicated to the memory of Nasireddin Tusi, a brilliant Azerbaijani scientist and thinker who lived in the 13th century.
The conference is planned to be held on July 03-06, 2024 in Baku.

On June 7, 2023 at 10:00 am, the next institute-wide seminar will be held at the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Head of the “Applied Mathematics” Department, Doctor of Medical Sciences Elkhan Abbasov will make a presentation on the topic “Determination of the force of resistance of a liquid to a body moving in it”.

The paper shows that the resistance force of a fluid to a body moving in it is determined by the fractional integral of the velocity. Consider an example.
