Announcement

The International scientific conference "XI Modern Problems of Mathematics and Mechanics" will be held under the organization of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, dedicated to the memory of Nasireddin Tusi, a brilliant Azerbaijani scientist and thinker who lived in the 13th century.
The conference is planned to be held on July 03-06, 2024 in Baku.

The regular General Institute seminar was held at the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics

On September 20, 2023, the next All-Institute seminar was held at the AR ETN Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics. In the institute seminar of RMI, the head of the “Theory of Functions” department of the Institute, doctor of  mathematical sciences, prof. Vugar Ismayilov, gave a report on “Characterization of the extreme element in the problem of convergence with the sum of two algebras”.

In the report, he gave information about the characterization of the closest element from the sum of two algebras to a continuous function defined in a compact metric space.
