Announcement

The International scientific conference "XI Modern Problems of Mathematics and Mechanics" will be held under the organization of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, dedicated to the memory of Nasireddin Tusi, a brilliant Azerbaijani scientist and thinker who lived in the 13th century.
The conference is planned to be held on July 03-06, 2024 in Baku.

On November 22 2023, the next All-Institute seminar was held at the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics. In the all-institute seminar of IMM, senior researcher at the department of “Mathematical Analysis” doctor mathematical sciences, associate professor, Elman Ibraghimov gave a report on “Characteristics of the Gegenbauer Lipschitz space in terms of the commutator of the maximum Gegenbauer operator”The report introduces the concept of Gegenbauer-Lipschitz space and proves that this space is a Banach space. Adams and Spanne type theorems about the boundedness of the commutator of the maximal Gögenbauer operator in that space are proved.
