Today the “Optimal Control” department was held its regular seminar. In the seminar, PhD candidate of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, Gunay Gafil gizi Ismayilova, gave a report on “Application of optimization methods to the solution of some inverse boundary value problems”.

In the report, some inverse boundary value problems for two-order hyperbolic and elliptic equations was interpreted as optimal control problems and their research with the help of optimal control theory methods.
