On 28^th February 2024 at 10:00 at the seminar of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics a senior researcher of the department “Function Theory”, cand. ph.-m. s., associate professor, Niyazi Aladdin oglu Ilyasov will speak with presentation entitled “On equivalence of some inequalities in the approximation theory of periodic functions in L_p (T) spaces”.

A method will be proposed that allows, using one key estimate, to show the validity and equivalence of various known inequalities (direct and inverse theorems) of the approximation theory of 2-periodic functions.
