In the Lenkaran city the boards, of young scientists and specialists of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of NASA has held the knowledge competition “Thin logically” devoted to May 28-the day of Republic.

At first the young scientists of the Institute visited the HeydarAliyevCenter in Lenkaran and looked through exhibits and photographs. Then in the event organized at S.Kazimbeyov secondary school №6 the young scientists and the participants of the competition were met and congratulated by the director of this school Akif Khaligov. The chairman of the Board of young scientists and specialists of IMM NASA, the philosophy doctor in mathematics Famil Seyfullayev informed the participants about the structure and the known scientists of the Institute and wished successes to pupils. The pupils of schools number 4, 7, 10 of Lenkaran city and the pupils of secondary schools of Shuruk and Kholmili villages of Lenkaran have demonstrated their knowledge and abilities. The teams of school №10, of Khomili and Shuruk villages occupied the first, second and third places respectively.

Then the participants were presented with certificates and gifts.
