On June 12, 2018, at the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of ANAS competition for admission to master’s degree of the institute was held for the purpose of selection of bachelors with high knowledge and willingness to engage in scientific-research activity.

33 applications were received for 4 places allocated to the institute. 32 of them participated in the competition. Interviewees answered the questions of chairperson, head of department, doctor of mathematical sciences, professor Adalat Akhundov, members – corresponding member of ANAS, doctor of technical sciences Geylani Panahov, doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, professor Hamidulla Aslanov, doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, professor Akbar Aliyev , Professor of ANAS Rovshan Bandaliyev.

Representative of the State Examination Center of Azerbaijan Republic, associate professor Alishirin Shukurlu attended the interview.

It should be noted that admission to the magistracy of the institute is carried out only on the basis of the state order. During their studies, masters have the opportunity to engage in scientific research and publish their research results in authoritative magazines, participate in international and national conferences, grant projects, and gain experience abroad. The names of those admitted to the magistracy of ANAS for the 2018-2019 academic year will be announced soon.
