An international scientific conference on “Modern problems of innovative technologies and applied mathematics in oil and gas industry” will be held on December 13-14, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of prominent oil scientist, academician Azad Mirzajanzade.

Famous scientists from Russia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, China, USA, Sweden, Iran and other countries will take part in the event organized by ANAS and Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University.

The main scientific directions of the conference:

– innovative methods of development and operation of oil fields;

– non-Newtonian systems and mathematical methods in oil and gas field;

– wavelet analysis, frame theory, applications;

– recognition of images, mathematical methods of signal processing and filtration;

– application of linear and nonlinear differential equations;

– mathematical methods of modeling and computer technologies.
