A paper by the director of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Misir Mardanov and employee of this institute, Melik Sami was published in “Journal of Dynamical and Control Systems”, refereed at the international database “Clarivate Analytics”, with 0.693 Impact Factor.

The paper titled “First and second order necessary optimality conditions in discrete systems with a delay in a control” studies an optimal control problem with a delayed control. Using the new method, the Euler type optimality conditions and the linearized discrete maximum principle have been obtained. Also, based on the second variation of functional, the second order necessary conditions for the optimality of quasi-singular controls were obtained. Examples are given to show the value of the received results and the method applied.
