Today the “Optimal Control” department was held its regular seminar. The head research of the department “Mathematical Analysis”, dr. sci. Rovshan Bandaliyev gave a talk on “An analogue of the Pontryagin maximum principle for optimal control problem described by ordinary fractional order differential equation in weighted Lebesgue spaces”.
In this report we discuss a new general formulation of fractional optimal control problems whose performance index is in the fractional integral form and the dynamics were given by a set of fractional differential equations in the Caputo sense. The statement of fractional optimal control problem was studied by using a version of the increment method that essentially uses the concept of an adjoint equation of the integral form.
