The Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics holds scientific-popular lectures and seminars for secondary school pupils within the program “Integration of Science and Education”. The first seminar was held on February 22.
The second seminar was held on March 2, at 15.00 at the assembly hall of IMM.
Leading research associate of “Algebra and Mathematical Logic” of IMM, philosophy doctor in mathematics Eminaga Mirzaga oglu Mammadov gave a talk on “Motion transformations”.
The talk deals with the notion of motion studied in the school course, main characteristics of its types, superpositions of different types of motion, proof of a theorem on representation of any motion in the form of superposition of these types and some applied problems.
IMM invites secondary school pupils and other interested persons to take part at this seminar.
