On 28-30, 2018, at Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University (ASPU), the International Symposium devodet to 100 years of Azerbaijan People Republic and Caucasas Islamic Army “Education and Social sciences in Turkic speaking countries”, was held.

The known scientists-specialists from the leading Universities of Turkey and Azerbaijan, responsible persons of ANAS, representatives of Turkey Cooporation and Coordination Agency of the prime Ministry of the Republic of Turkey, the international Culture and language research center, the union of Turkic world edu- cators, Yunus Amre Institute and other institutions and organizations have participated at this Symposium.

Director of IMM, corr. member of ANAS, prof. Misir Mardanov made a report on “History of development of Mathematical Education in Azerbaijan”.

In this event, prof. Misir Mardanov was awarded the “Turkic World Prize” by the board of “TURKCESS 2018” for his contribution to Turkic World.
