Today, at the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of ANAS, a meeting was held with the delegation headed by the Chairman of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS), academician Yulian Revalki.

The delegation included BAS Deputy Chairman, Corresponding Member Vasil Nikolov, Chief Scientific Secretary of the Enterprise, Professor Evdokia Pasheva and Deputy Mayor of Sofia, PhD in Archeology, Associate Professor Todor Chobanov.

Firstly, director of the Institute, corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Misir Mardanov, spoke about the history of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, prominent Azerbaijani scientists in mathematics, researches on mathematics and mechanics in recent years, international relations of the enterprise, as well as new scientific research directions spoke about the work done in the field of creation.

During the meeting, the participants exchanged experiences, exchanges of researchers and researchers, joint projects, short-term and long-term visits of scholars to the lectures, participation in seminars and joint scientific researches, mutual support for joint participation in international research projects and other priorities and exchange of views on cooperation in the field.

M.Mardanov suggested signing of cooperation agreements between Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of ANAS and Institute of Mathematics and Informatics of Mechanical Engineers of BAS and underlined that joint research in these fields has laid the foundation for future joint scientific works of both countries.

Academician Yulian Revalski said that the Azerbaijani and Bulgarian mathematicians and mechanical engineers will provide necessary support for joint research and exchange of experiences.
