Today, the institute seminar of IMM was held. The leading res. ass. of “Mathematical Analysis” department, doctor of math. Sci. ass. prof. Elman Ibrahimov gave a talk on “Boundedness of Gegenbauer-Riesz potentials in Lebesgue spaces”.

The talk deals with harmonic analysis problems generated by Gegenbauer differential operator. The properties of Gegenbauer-Riesz potential generated by Gegenbauer differential operator were discussed. Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev type theorem for boundedness of Gegenbauer-Riesz potential in Lebesgue spaces was represented.
