Today, the meeting of the Scientific Council was held. The meeting was opened by director of IMM, corr. Member of ANAS, prof. M.Mardanov. He acquainted the members of the Council with the resolution of the Presidium of ANAS No 14/2 dated from 03 October, 2018 about report of the results of research works for 2018.

Then the issue about partial change of the theme of dissertation of candidate for a degree of “Differential Equations” department of IMM Vusala Gasimova. By secret ballot it was decided to change the theme of the dissertation.

The issue on conferring the scientific title of associate professor to the head of “Fluid and gas mechanics” department, corr. Member of ANAS, doctor of technical sciences Geylani Minhaj oglu Panahov by the specialty 2002.01 Mechanics of Deformable Solids and 2003.01 Fluid, gas and plasm Mechanics. By the secrte ballot it was decided to appeal the Higher Attestation Commission at the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Then the report of the head of “Nonharmonic Analysis” department, corr. member of ANAS, prof. B.Bilalov’s report about his participation in the international Conference “spectral theory and mixed problems” held in Ufa city of Russia and devoted to 70 years of prof. of Bashkordstan State Pedagogical University, doct. phys. math. sci. Y.T. Sultanayev, was listened.
