Eminaga Mirzaga oglu Mammadov was born on June 12, 1962 in Arkivan village of Masalli region. He studied at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of the Azerbaijan State University named after Kirov, in 1982-1985 he graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics of Leningrad State University.

In 1985-1987 he worked at the Institute of Mechanics and Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences of the Azerbaijan SSR, in 1987-1988 he did an internship at the Leningrad Branch of the Steklov Institute of Mathematics of the USSR Academy of Sciences, in 1988-1991 he studied at the postgraduate course of Leningrad State University. Until 2005, he was engaged in pedagogical activities in the schools of Masalli regular education department RED. In 2005 he started working in the “Algebra and Mathematical Logic” department of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of ANAS. Currently, he works as a senior researcher in the department.

In 2013, he defended his doctoral dissertation on “The essence and logical aspects of mathematical concepts in the works of Nasreddin Tusi.”

Areas of interest and research areas: algebra and logic, functional analysis, differential equations, operator algebra, history of science, logic, philosophy, theology. He is the author of more than 80 scientific, popular science articles, theses, conference materials, books, translations and commentaries from Arabic, Russian and English.
