On 22.02.2018, at 10.30, the regular seminar of “Optimal Control” department will be held. At the seminar Leading scientist of The Institute of Control Systems of ANAS, Dr., Assoc. Prof. Anar Rahimov will give a talk on “Numerical solution to inverse problems for hyperbolic type equation”.
In the talk the inverse problems are considered for a hyperbolic type equation with an unknown coefficient on the right-hand side. An approach is proposed to solve numerically the problems, which is based on the use of the method of lines. The initial problem is reduced to a system of ordinary differential equations with unknown parameters. To solve this system, the analogue of the sweep method is proposed (continuation).
