The book “The Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of ANAS 60” authored by corr. member of ANAS, prof. M. Miardanov published in “Elm ve Tehsil” publishing house consists of 384 pages. The book deals with glorious history of the \institute from the very begining of its establishment to our days, mathematician scientists working here during 60 years, their contributions to the mathematical science, the life of persions with valuable services in formation of mathematics as a science in our Republic. Information about scientific results of over 200 scientists on the field of Mathematics and Mechanics in our Republic was also given.
