The weekly Wednesday seminar on 14 january 2015, 10.00 a.m., will feature Professor Veli Kurbanov (Department of Functional Analysis, IMM) who will talk about «On equiconvergence of spectral expansions in root functions of differential operators».
In the talk, we will discuss equiconvergence of expansions of functions from certain function spaces in root functions of ordinary differential operators of arbitrary order with the trigonometric expansion on compact sets. We will also discuss the equiconvergence rate and its dependence on the coefficients of the differential operator.
